I'm looking for a small warehouse space, but nothing seems to fit. Uncertain About How to Look Up Availability (Beyond LoopNet, Local Brokers, etc.)

I’ve been searching for a small warehouse space (1500 sf or less) without success. I’ve outgrown my storage unit, and getting pallets delivered there is a hassle. I found two ideal flex spaces, but they were leased before I could act. A broker suggested driving around industrial areas to find warehouses and contact them directly for excess space. Has anyone had luck with this method? Is it rude to search businesses online and email them? As an introvert, this feels uncomfortable. I also checked Craigslist but found nothing. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have been using a flexible warehousing space at Cubework for two years now. They’ve been growing and setting up locations in more and more cities.

Good luck! I am in Central NJ. I found a 400-square-foot space on Craigslist, then later found a 1,400-square-foot space on LoopNet.

Ask around with similar businesses to you who they like as a broker. Then get a better broker. A good broker will know your local ecosystem better than us tools on Reddit.
