I know this is a dumb and basic question, but I was looking around for PoS solutions and I thought you guys could help.
In order to process payments when someone phones, I need a point-of-sale system that lets me enter credit or debit card details. Right now, I’m looking into Talech Mobile, but I can’t find any solid information that will enable me to accomplish this.
Is there anyone with knowledge of Talech Mobile or other point-of-sale systems that let me to enter a customer’s credit card information at the point of sale?
This is my take hear this, select a reputable payment processor that provides competitive rates and essential features like fraud protection and PCI compliance.
I would suggest Quickbooks or Square. Create your bill and forward it to them. through email, text message, or chat, or you can send a web link. Through the web, they can access. I always act in this manner. You avoid entering over the phone in this method.
When I started my small bakery business, I needed a reliable point-of-sale (PoS) system that allowed me to manually enter credit card details for phone orders. I initially struggled to find clear information, but after extensive research and trials, I found that many PoS systems offer this feature. For instance, Square allows manual entry of credit card information through their app, and Clover offers similar functionality. Regarding Talech Mobile, while it’s generally user-friendly, I didn’t find sufficient support for manual entry, which led me to choose Square for its versatility and ease of use. Exploring options like Square, Clover, and even contacting customer support for confirmation can help you find a PoS system that meets your needs for processing payments over the phone.
To accept phone payments, use mobile payment apps such as Square or PayPal, virtual terminals like Stripe integrated payment gateways, POS systems such as Clover or Square, invoicing/payment links, or payment service providers like Braintree. Ensure PCI DSS compliance for security.
