What are some of the Best Small Business Credit Card Recommendations?

Hey everyone, what’s the best small business credit card you’ve come across? Ideally, one that offers points or rewards.

It all depends on what you spend money on and what perks matter most to you (like cash back, travel rewards, etc.).

The Capital One Spark card is great for earning 2% cash back or miles on all purchases, and you can use points for travel expenses or other rewards like gift cards. It’s a versatile card that covers a wide range of expenses.

If you spend less or have specific spending categories, the Chase Ink cards offer more than 2% back, though up to a certain limit, which could be a good option.

For those in advertising, shipping, and other categories, the American Express Gold Business card earns 4x points, up to $150k annually (equivalent to 600k points). You can hold multiple cards to maximize benefits—I currently use one for shipping and another for advertising, while using the Capital One Spark for inventory purchases and other expenses.

American Express points are highly valuable and can be transferred to numerous partners. If you know how to use them wisely, you can get excellent value when booking travel. We’ve managed to take several free vacations each year using miles and points last year, we enjoyed two weeks in London and Paris in first-class seats.

The Ink Business Preferred Credit Card is one of the best small business credit cards I’ve ever come across. It earns 3X points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases in select categories each account anniversary year, including travel, shipping, internet/cable/phone services, and advertising purchases with social media sites and search engines. New cardholders can also earn a generous 100,000 bonus points after spending $8,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. The $95 annual fee is reasonable given the strong rewards rate and valuable benefits like 25% more value when redeeming points for travel through Chase, no foreign transaction fees, and the ability to transfer points to leading airline and hotel loyalty programs. Overall, this card provides excellent value for small business owners who want to maximize rewards on common business expenses.

One great recommendation for a small business credit card is the Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. It offers 5% cash back on office supply purchases and on internet, cable, and phone services, 2% cash back at gas stations and restaurants, and 1% on all other purchases. It also has no annual fee and a 0% introductory APR for the first 12 months. This can be a solid option to help manage business expenses and earn rewards.
