Scheduling Management without WFM system

Just out of curiosity, how well have you been able to handle schedules, adherence, and compliance without the need for a WFM system?

I recently moved into a remote IT company, therefore we have no idea what our employees are doing. Aside from manually reviewing their work, we generally believe they are doing what we pay them to do all the time.

Additionally, we handle our rotas manually, requiring manual entry of modifications.

Do they have any kind of ticketing system in place? What, if any, reporting is available on their work platform? Look for simple scheduling in your HR/Payroll system.

Running a remote team without a WFM system can be tough. Trust is great, but keeping track of schedules and workloads remotely can get messy. WFM software isn’t for me, but some companies use them to automate scheduling, track activity for better adherence, and even improve communication between employees. While manual review works for some, a WFM system might free up your time and streamline things. Maybe check out some free trials and see if they can help

hi mitchell i hear the optimal strategy varies depending on the size and complexity of your team. Strive for a balance between efficiency and functionality that aligns with your available resources.
