Launch an air carbon filter business

Hi everyone, I recently launched my company. As a student in high school, I created carbon filters to remove pollutants, volatile organic compounds, and particulates from the air. I want to market my company, find a method to make it take off, and come up with some creative ways to raise money. If someone could give me some advice or point me in the direction of alternative platforms where I may advertise my business and acquire followers besides Instagram, that would be greatly appreciated. Because this is a significant effort for me, I would appreciate any help you can give, as well as any criticism or praise. It would be immensely appreciated by me.

My inquiry is, How precisely does a sachet filter air?

Yes, we utilize sachets of activated charcoal, which is essentially air that has been adsorbed. This allows it to absorb different kinds of pollutants, volatile organic compounds, and even PM (specifically matter) from the air. In addition, activated charcoal is utilized in water treatment, gas masks, and face masks. I hope this helps! I can provide a link to a video that shows it in action!

How is the air supposed to pass through the carbon sachet for it to be purified? There are already many different types of activated carbon filters, and everyone that comes to mind requires a fan to force air through the carbon.

That being said, as air will flow in and out of the sachet naturally, you do not need a fan to have it. Our sachets are composed of canvas duck cloth, and some of them also feature an inside layer of muslin, which makes the sachet breathable overall. You should transfer the sachet to different areas of your room at least once every two weeks for optimal effectiveness. But owning a fan is not required.

I’m curious how do you plan to convince people to pay for cleaning their air? I can see some opportunity, like in a polluted city where I’d probably want a carbon filter in my room. Ideally, it would be a quiet one for my bedroom. It’s just not a market I’ve thought much about. I have a Royal Queen air purifier that covers rooms up to 65 m². It was cheap, but its original price was around $600 or $700. I’ve always seen it as a fad, and here in Denmark, I don’t see why people would buy air purifiers yet, someday air might become a valuable commodity in polluted cities.

Right, so these air purifiers are sachets made from activated charcoal, not large machines. It’s a chemical solution to clean the air. These are particularly useful around construction sites, workspaces, dusty areas, closets, and even in public transport facilities for deodorization. The cost ranges from $5 to $20, depending on the size, and they last about 2-3 years. To recharge them, you just place them in the sun for 2 hours every two months. A 500-gram sachet can purify an entire room, like a bedroom, making it a more affordable and effective alternative to expensive machinery. I’ve already received 60+ orders in the first week, and just launched my Instagram 24 hours ago, so people are interested.

Just wondering whether I would be effectively copying your product if I were to get some powdered activated charcoal and apply it to my air filter.
