How does Uline manage to keep sending all those catalogs?

I know they’re a well-known company with a big range of products, but it’s not like they only send out a catalog once a year. They send them all the time, and it must cost them a lot. Sure, it’s good advertising, but how do they afford to keep doing it?

I checked their site for some products I use, and they were way more expensive, like 150% higher than what I usually pay.

Uline offers a one-stop shop for quality products, quick ordering, and next-day delivery. It’s not about being the cheapest. It’s more about convenience—finding everything in one place without having to deal with multiple suppliers that might take weeks to deliver.

@Denny
And their scale matters too. You might order 10 of something to test, but they’re totally okay if your next order is 1000.

@Denny
That’s why I use Amazon Subscribe & Save! Uline probably makes sense if my business were bigger.

I’m not a fan of the Uline owners, but their business does deliver on quality. Having a reliable supplier is worth something. You might save a few bucks here and there, but if someone has to spend time searching or you end up with low-quality products, you’re not really saving anything.

@Hart
Yeah, their political donations put them on my ‘never-buy’ list.

Same here. They went from ‘last resort’ to ‘never again’ for me.

Thanks for the link!

I haven’t had any issues with Amazon so far. Maybe it helps that I don’t buy big-ticket items. I just set it up and let it run, only adjusting shipments once or twice a year.

You’re lucky. Amazon’s become a mess with knock-offs and low-quality products. It’s like a fancier eBay now. I bought ink cartridges that were supposed to be original, and they messed up my printer. I’ve cut back on using Amazon since.

@Noor
I only order from the brand’s official store on Amazon, so that might be why I’ve been okay so far. I’ll count myself lucky!

@Noor
Amazon has kind of become the new Walmart for buying things you don’t need that aren’t made to last.

Exactly! Couldn’t have said it better.

Amazon’s products aren’t always the best quality though.

That’s my issue with Amazon—so much of it feels like junk. I get why people use Uline, even if I don’t.

Funny thing—Uline sells some of their products cheaper on Amazon than on their own website. We got their packing tape dispenser on Amazon for 25% less. It’s odd.

@Drew
Might be a knock-off on Amazon. Just saying.
